If you are interested in a British Labrador puppy from Royalty British Kennels, we will arrange a meeting where you can interview us, meet some puppies and their parents – and we can interview you too! Our puppies are very special to us and we want to make sure each and every one goes to a loving home.

Once both parties have agreed upon the purchase of a puppy, we require a $300 deposit and the balance is due at the time you pick up your puppy or prior to shipment. You can pick your puppy up at 7 weeks, or we will ship your puppy to you at 8 weeks of age. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Upon purchase, Royalty will provide you with general information

typically have questions once you get your puppy home, and Royalty is here to help you. We encourage you to call any time with questions or concerns - we'll answer any questions and give you appropriate recommendations.

We don't consider this as "completing a transaction", but more of "creating a relationship". Many of our clients bring their puppies back for training or just to visit, and join us for hunting expeditions, so we encourage you and your puppy to become members of the "Royal family"!

THANK YOU Dr. Raeana Rice from Stillwater Veterinary Clinic

Puppies, puppies, puppies.   This year at Royalty British Kennels we have had wonderful success working with Dr. Raeana Rice, who in her first year out of Veterinary School, has mastered the art of breeding the British Labradors at Royalty British Kennels in Milaca, MN.  She has successfully bred all of the young, middle age, and last time mama's this year.  Many of those litters have had a good number of puppies to them.  We are deeply grateful to her and the rest of the staff for helping us at the kennel with our success.  Without her and the staff working with us, we at the kennel would not have puppies available for you, our many happy customers.

A big thank you, Dr. Raeana Rice, of Stillwater Veterinary Clinic in Stillwater, MN for your 2013, and continued breeding success for us, as well as the other Doctor's and staff at the clinic, who we have worked with in the past and continue to work with us and our British Labradors.  We have had a great working relationship with you all in the past few years since using your offices.  We feel welcomed at your clinic and part of the family.

Here is a little bit of information for you, our customers, about the breeding process.
RBK uses Stillwater Veterinary Clinic for our breeding services.  If we hope to have a litter of puppies with one of our mama's (Bitches), we start with bringing that mama into the vet when they are in their heat cycle.  There they do a progesterone level test.  It may need to be repeated several times over a week's time.  When the mama is best for a successful breeding, they are then artificially inseminated by the Stillwater Vet Clinic with one of our male dogs (Sires).  This too may probably be repeated for added successful pregnancy.  A month after breeding, the mama is returned to the vet for an ultrasound to verify pregnancy.  Then just days prior to the expected delivery date, we return to the Stillwater Vet Clinic for an x-ray to get a count of how many puppies to expect.

Dr. Raeana Rice grew up in the veterinary field, as her dad is Dr. Don Rice, of Stillwater Veterinary Clinic.  Raeana spent many hours at the clinic with her dad.  She graduated from the College of St. Benedict in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in business management.  After college she worked in the finance field for 5 years.  She says she quickly realized that finance was not the career for her.  During her last 2 years in that field, she took the requisite science classes for entrance to vet school at night and was accepted to the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2008.  During veterinary school, she was mentored by her dad, Dr. Don Rice, and also Dr. Margaret Root-Kustritz.  Dr. Root worked at the Stillwater Vet Clinic in the mid 1990's prior to completing her PhD and becoming a diplomat of the American College of Theriogenologists.  The two of them worked together throughout Dr. Rice's 4th year of Veterinary school on a research project using data accumulated from the Correlation with Successful Breeding of Bitches that they presented together during the breeder symposium at the 2013 Society for Theriogenology conference in Louisville, Kentucky in August.  Dr. Rice graduated from the U of M College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2012 and began working with her dad, Dr. Don Rice, and the rest of the Veterinary staff at Stillwater Veterinary Clinic a week later.  Dr. Rice's areas of interest include canine reproduction, small animal internal medicine and small animal ultrasonography.

We  at Royalty British Kennels would like to thank Dr. Raeana Rice and all the staff at Stillwater Veterinary Clinic in Stillwater, MN for always being there for us -
